Proverbs 31:30 – Siyn
[bibleblock]Proverb 31:30[/bibleblock]

Siyn, or shiyn, begins verse 30. This Hebrew letter looks like a big chewing tooth, and it symbolizes meditation.
What is it the virtuous woman “chews on” all day? What dominates her thoughts? The Word of God! Another translation of this verse could be, “Elegance is a lie, and dazzling looks are empty, but a woman who meditates on Scripture is a knockout!”
When a woman loves and reverences God above all else, when she seeks the kingdom of God first, not only will her husband and family love and appreciate her, but she will also earn the respect and admiration of the public.
What happens when a wife spends her days and nights meditating in God’s Word? This woman is not consumed with who is sleeping with whom on the soaps, all the mundane issues of talk shows, or fantasizing about what might have been. Consequently, her inner beauty transforms her outer beauty into someone people instinctively admire and praise.
